CFD and FSI Analysis Services
We deliver exceptional value to your project.
Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) is a numerical technique for solving and analysing problems that involve fluid flows. Fluid Structure Interaction (FSI) is an advanced simulation method that analyses interaction of deformable structures with an internal or surrounding fluid flow using results of CFD analysis. These have recently been utilised in the building industry and in particular in projects with irregular shapes where simplified methods outlined in the standards are not applicable. CFD and FSI analysis can provide all the information that is normally obtained from wind tunnel tests.
StruSol offers CFD and FSI analysis services for different type of structures. These are unique tools for investigating effects of flood and wind loads on structures and infrastructures. Our advanced methods in simulating fluid structure interaction are tailored to:
- Determine structural response to fluid induced forces
- Locate over-stressed components in structures
- Predict level of structural damage
- Provide solutions to minimise adverse effects of fluid on structures
- Establish rehabilitation strategies and retrofitting plans for affected structures
- Insure long-term performance of structures
